 It has been many years since the creation of the Jurassic Classic and it is with great pleasure that we approach the 16th Annual Jurassic Classic.
The Jurassic Classic was created to offer the most novice of gymnast to the most experienced, an opportunity to compete in a wonderful competition bringing in athletes from across Canada. It has been an occasion to appreciate and learn from a wide variety of styles as diverse as the places from which they come. Athletes tend to enjoy their time at Jurassic and look forward to returning each year.
We, at the U of C, are proud of the opportunities this Invitational has offered to the Alberta and Canadian Gymnastic community. We feel proud of our efforts in the past to help build the team spirit of Canadian athletes on their quest to Athens and then Beijing. But both those Olympics have come and gone and we are entering the new Quadrennial leading up to London, and so we are once again offering the National athletes an opportunity to have a top quality competition on Home soil.
The Jurassic Classic prides itself on having every athlete experience participating in a competition that makes them all feel like champions no matter which level or session they participate in.
